Bookstore This position assists students who are purchasing school supplies and spirit wear from the book store. Please indicate the day and times that you can assist in the comments section below. The following are the hours of operation:             12:25pm-1:50pm  Monday 12:15pm-1:40pm Tuesday-Friday Monday - Friday  3:45-4:15pm Sign up online here Counseling Office While working in the counseling office, volunteers will assist by answering phones, greeting students and parents, making copies, etc. Please indicate the day you wish to volunteer in the comments section below. Volunteers are needed daily from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Sign up online here. Front Office While working in the front office, volunteers will assist by answering phones, greeting students and parents, making copies, etc. Please indicate the day you wish to volunteer in the comments section below. Fundraising Assist VP of Ways & Means with retail promotions and fundraising activities. Hospitality Contribute baked goods, paper products, etc. for faculty and staff recognition and special school functions. Senior Scholarship Assist chair person with developing guidelines for senior scholorship program. On Call Parent This volunteer position is a unique opportunity to volunteer. We will call you when a need arises that is not listed here. Occasionally unscheduled staff needs arise and we would like to provide our staff with some short-term assistance as needed. You would be contacted only on an as needed, short term basis. Outreach Assist program chair in extending assistance and services to the community as an act of charity or goodwill. Programs Meeting Night Assistance (See calendar for actual event dates).  We need individuals who can help make contacts and organize speakers, help with meals during curriculum night and Bingo events, and be on hand the night of programs to assist in activities.   Reflections Program The reflections program begins and ends very early in the school year (Sept – Oct) We need some volunteers to assist the chair.  Help will be needed later in the year with the Citizenship Essay contest as well. Spirit Nights Help promote spirit nights through flyers, posters, newsletter, website, etc.  Be in attendance at the event to answer questions and assist patrons.   Spirit Wear Help chair with sales, distribution, etc of spirit wear. After Prom Assist chair person with planning, fundraising and chaperoning Glen Allen's After Prom Party. Baccalaureate Assist chair person with planning and hosting Glen Allen's senior event.
